Mother Teresa Wall Tile

Description

This hanging porcelain wall tile measures 3″ (7.5cm) and is one of a kind and features a quote from Mother Teresa –  “Be faithful in the small things because it is in them that your strength lies.”

It was glazed in a clear glaze and fired a 3rd time and a ceramic decal was adhered to the surface.  All tiles are made of a high density, vitreous porcelain clay. I concentrate on utilizing glazes that have an inherent variability and a rich tactile surface, not unlike those used in Arts & Crafts ceramics and unattainable in mass-produced commercial tiles.
