Making it work
I love the work that I do. That is no secret. I feel quite blessed to have a wonderful family, live in a beautiful area of Ontario and I am able to connect with a job that I love most days. I recently sat in on a webinar with a couple of guys of spoke about handmade work and all of the ways that you can be promoting yourself on various places on the internet.
I actually do use those promotional tools to a certain degree and suppose that I do benefit from them even though I don’t always see the result. One thing that I have always loved about being an artist is it allows me to connect with a place within that is quiet and serene. When this webinar was complete, I realized how much I don’t know about technology and maybe for now that is alright. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Many years ago, I had the opportunity to do a lot inner work and one of the things that someone had said to be aware of was what causes you to contract or expand in your solar plexus. The work that I do causes me to feel expansive and knowing that people are happy with the pieces that they purchase from me makes my heart sing. Over time, I will master this on line selling thing and for now with the knowledge that I have, I will just have to make it work.
