Giving Thanks
Well Thanksgiving is upon us and I have been completely swamped with work, homeschooling and getting ready for my favourite holiday. I have been MIA as I have been taking a jewellery casting class at a community college and I must say, it gives me a whole new appreciation for the work that jewellers do. I don’t think that it would be something for me to pursue and at the same time, it is good to learn a new skill and somehow be able to incorporate it into the work that I do or will be doing.
I have been busy with a dinnerware set that I completed over the summer for a wedding and a lot of requests for custom work. I have also been working with a colleague on some new pieces which I am quite excited about. When I have some new pieces available, I will be sure to post them here and in my Etsy shop as well.
So autumn is upon us and the trees are beautiful with all of their changing colours. I think that Thanksgiving is a fitting time to give thanks for all that we have. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to those who are celebrating this weekend.
